A very Bluey Birthday Party for my 4 year old
Our family is mildly obsessed with the show Bluey. And by mildly, I mean we absolutely love this show and cannot get enough. Do I sometimes watch when the kids are asleep? Maybe. Do I dream about getting a Calypso tattoo? Possibly. Do I think it is the best kids show of all time? Hard Yes. So when our daughter asked for a Bluey party, I felt honored and excitedly eager to pull it all together. My husband surprised us with a custom made portrait of our family as Bluey characters. Not only was it one of the most thoughtful gifts EVER, it set the stage perfectly for invites, the cake topper, her birthday card and various signage.

Bluey Birthday Invitation
The Bluey font is called “Hello Headline” and is available for purchase from MyFonts.com. A must have for party customization.
Because Covid sucks, we did an outdoor party with very close family and friends at one of our favorite parks…by a creek! (Cue Creek is Beautiful song) The kiddos had a blast playing and splashing about. And yes, we absolutely played the Bluey Album on repeat.

Bluey Favor Ideas
Inside the little favor bags were Bluey balloons for Keepy Uppy, different colored lizards for Sticky Gecko, Bluey stickers, Bluey coloring sheets, snacks including cheese & crackers (ahhhh cheese & crackers –Bandit), Hint juice boxes and some granola chocolate bars.
Most of the favors came from Amazon; the stickers, geckos, balloons & holders.

We used a local bakery to create this beautiful cake and cupcakes. I did the decorating as I had a vision and wanted to keep it simple.
